So yesterday I went to the Coffee Prince cafe in Hongdae. I had gone the day before but it was closed. So I got to the station and had to find a Korean girl to show me how to get there even though I had been before :P

I got there and the gate was STILL closed so I got worried. The people there waiting told me it was under construction or something until April. I was pretty sure this was not true, and could see staff turning lights on inside.

I waited as those people left and three Japanese ladies showed up. I asked if they knew if it was closed and told them I had gone the day before, and they told me they had done the same thing, but that it should open in 5 minutes. Then a really hot Korean guy started closing the windows to the coffee shop and came out and opened the gate. We were the first ones inside.

We took pictures but videos weren’t allowed. The place looks really cool. You can’t go upstairs or stand on the deck, but you can sit where Eun Chan blew on Han Gyul’s face (also the place where Big Bang sat to do the parody) and you can take pictures next to the wall where the flowers are, and the cast signed all around the place and their official autographs are framed on the walls.

I also was really lucky I can read Korean. I found the place on the wall where G-Dragon of Big Bang signed and wrote a note to everyone <3 He signed as Ji Yong but I knew it was him <3 ahhh happy.

The cups we were served in were so cute, and some of them had the Coffee Prince logo on it, and a sketch of the shop. A nice touch. I had hot coco and it was really good :)

Then I went to Apgujeong and met my friend from my university in America who is also studying abroad in Japan. I met him in Tokyo as well but he suddenly came to Korea so we hung out here too. We walked around looking for a place to eat and found a Korean place where we ate spicy pork and rice, kimchi, and the like.

After our tongues were scorched, we wanted to cool them off with ice cream. So we went to Time Out, the gelato shop in Apgujeong where Mickey/Yoochun of DBSK’s mom works or something.. Or she owns it. Either way, there are pictures of Mickey EVERYWHERE and you can leave presents for him and buy goods with his picture. When you buy ice cream you can get two flavors so I got Snickers and mint chocolate chip. It was amaaaazing. They also give you a big sticker of pictures of Yoochun so I got three because my friends didn’t really care to have them aha. Then I bought a pouch with his pic on it, and the girl working there gave me a postcard of him as well. Korea is really cheap as well. I feel like doing stuff like this in America would cost me a fortune baha.

Then we went shopping and found some cool stores but it was too expensive to buy much. I did get a skirt and some lip gloss in the form of a crayon aha it was so cute.

Then I went to Def Dance, the studio my friend used to go to when she studied abroad in Korea for a year. She told me I could take a hip hop class for pretty cheap, and I wanted to exercise, so I got to the station but couldn’t find it. Fortunately, I had written down a little map and the phone number. So I found the Family Mart it was next to and had the guy there call them and tell them we didn’t know how to get there. A girl working at Family Mart walked me halfway and the girl at Def Dance met me and brought me to the studio. I told her who my friend was and she was really excited and told me where I could change and then we went to the reception area I guess and she was asking me if I wanted to take the kpop class or the hip hop class. I had come to take kpop but it had already started since I got lost, and the hip hop class was taught by a professional instructor, so I chose that option.

While we were in the little room above the dance rooms, my jaw dropped to the floor. This was’t just any dance studio. This was THE dance studio in Seoul. On the wall were hundreds of autographs and pictures of people who had trained there before. Among the many, I saw Taeyang, 2AM, 2PM, MBLAQ, U-KISS, Girl’s Day, and about fifty more. I got pictures of all of their signatures, don’t worry.

So the guy who taught the class was really cool and even though I sucked compared to the other 3 in the class, I kept up for the most part. It was hard, though, and the 2 hours went by really fast. I had a ton of fun and got to take a picture with the instructor and the girl who was friends with my friend.

Then I met up with my old roommate from my university and had dinner with her. We used to eat italian food in my room all the time back in America so we chose an Italian restaurant, but when we were leaving we saw that U-Kiss had been there before, and took a picture and autographed it. I was being stalked by celebrities instead of the other way around XD

When I showed my ex roomie pictures of me and the dance instructor she told me she had seen him on TV before O_O;;

Yeah.

Then today I basically slept because my cramps were killing me, and I can’t go to Busan until Saturday, and I’m only going for the day.

Anyway, pictures soon if I can :)

I actually love rain. And today it was raining this wonderful gloomy mist, but the bad part was that it was FREEZING. I should have dressed warmer, but I’m going to hip hop later tonight and wanted to wear my Wonder Girls concert t-shirt because I’m going with some Korean friends of mine ^.^

Anyway, the campus is always beautiful, but I took a picture of this creepy building is actually a working insane asylum here because it looked poetic in the rain.

I hope this week doesn’t kill me because I have a Japanese History paper due Tuesday and I have so much to read for my other classes as well.

But tomorrow I am going to be posting some exciting news I hope ^.^ So 아녕 for now!
